A gorgeous pair of diamond cluster earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! These beautiful earrings are crafted in 18kt yellow gold topped in sterling silver and feature a stunning old Mine Cut diamond design. Each is circular in shape and holds a formation of seven sparkling diamonds in a shared prong setting. Collectively, the stones weigh approximately 0.65ctw and have estimated J-L range color and SI range clarity. The clusters are encircled by two smoothly polished frames which are separated by a dramatic open channel. The underside of each earring reveals its yellow gold backing as well as a screwback-style post and back?for secure and comfortable wear. A simply stunning pair of antique?earrings from the Victorian era, they?would?look exceptional worn day or night!
Measurements: Each earring measures slightly more than 1/2" in diameter and approximately 3/16" in depth.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling topped gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which?are intact. The earring posts and backs are secure and in good working condition.
