A fabulous?signet ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold, this ring displays a steel intaglio of a crown above a shield with three stars and a wheat plant at its center. The backside of the design is marked "967" and two French hallmarks, a boar's head and a guarantee mark are subtly stamped on the ring's shoulders before it tapers in the back. A striking statement piece, this would be an impressive addition to a Victorian collection!
Measurements:?The ring fits a finger size of 7 but can be resized. The ring's face measures less than 3/4" tall, 9/16" wide, and rests 3/32" above the finger when worn. The ring weighs 17.5g.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and steel intaglio. At the back of the ring, there is a small area that was tested for gold but this is not noticeable when worn.
